The Argyle Fans’ Trust welcomes Miron Muslić to Home Park as the new head coach for Argyle.
Plymouth Argyle’s latest ‘manager’ was eventually revealed to be 42 year-old Muslić, after what seemed to be a never-ending parade of former, out-of-work, or inter-divisional ex-managers with varying credentials, all vying for selection.
The Bosnian/Austrian’s first official announcement struck exactly the right chord by recognising the tremendous job that Kevin Nancekivel (ably assisted by Joe Edwards) had done in the three (unbeaten) matches following Wayne Rooney’s departure. A stark comparison to Ian Foster’s suggestion a year ago that Joe was surplus to coaching requirements.
Miron guided Belgian premier league side Cercle Brugge, who also play in green, to unprecedented success in recent seasons, qualifying for European football.
We wish him and the team all the best as they start the battle to move up the table against Oxford United tonight.

We of course thank Nance and Joe for steering Argyle through three matches unbeaten since Wayne Rooney left, including an outstanding win at Brentford in the FA Cup. Both bleed green and we hope to see Joe back in the first team squad and playing again as soon as possible.
