Ten years ago today, the Argyle Fans’ Trust came into existence at a time of great turmoil for the club and its supporters.
Administration was wracking Argyle and the Club was in genuine danger of disappearing altogether.
At this darkest hour in our history, a band of determined supporters stepped forward to lead the response and thanks to their extraordinary efforts, a new voice from the terraces was established.
Setting out to be the democratic and representative voice of the supporters, encouraging the Club to operate sustainably and transparently, the AFT has led the way over the last ten years.
From the first day of its life with Romain representing at the Stoke Social Club, the AFT has been at the forefront of supporter engagement with the Club.
Through the testing times of the post-administration rebuild of the club, to the Asset of Community Value application, the Close Season Surveys, the player sponsorships, the Foodbank collections and now the Zoom Watch parties with Simon Hallett, the AFT remains constant in its aim.

We continue to believe that responsible supporter involvement in decision-making – in partnership with the Club owner and management, with the City Council, and other stakeholders – is an achievable objective.
The Argyle Fans’ Trust seeks to act as a guardian of the future of the football club, to help it where it can, offering the skills and expertise of its membership to provide solutions.
A great deal has changed since the dark days of December 2010 – managers, players and directors have all come and gone over the last ten years.
But the fans remain, and so does the AFT.
