The FSF and EFL are to begin a survey before they take supporters’ views to Government.

The English Football League (EFL) has backed the fan-led standing campaign and is now urging fans to tell their clubs why they want all-seater laws to be changed – their joint survey comes as an online Government petition passed 108,000 signatures this week which should lead to the issue being put up for a Parliamentary debate.

If you want to make representation to your local MPs they can be contacted at:

The minister concerned is Tracey Crouch (“[Safe-standing] isn’t a massive issue in my inbox. There is a vocal minority calling for changes.”): tracey.crouch.mp@parliament.uk

Head of the FSF’s standing campaign Peter Daykin said: “It’s great to have such an important football institution engage so positively with the campaign, working hand-in-hand with fans to make the case for standing at football.”
