For many years, the Argyle Fans’ Trust has been the proud keepers of Michael Foot’s famous Argyle scarf, bequeathed by his family to the Trust after his passing in 2010.
Now, in partnership with the Plymouth Argyle Heritage Archive (PAHA), we are at last able to display this priceless piece of Argyle memorabilia in a place where all Argyle fans can see it.
Michael’s scarf is now on a permanent loan to the Plymouth Argyle Heritage Archive, who have unveiled some of their treasures in display boxes hung in the entrance foyer of the Green Taverners building at Home Park.
Virginia Pike, Chair of the AFT and Bob Wright, Trustee of the Plymouth Argyle Heritage Archive were on hand this week to complete the handover of this famous Argyle artefact.
Now all Argyle fans can pay homage to it too.
